GOD HEALS LOWER BACK
In 1987 I severely hurt my lower back. I knew nothing about the healing power of God or the gifts of the Holy Spirit. For 6 months I suffered pain and for much of that time I was unable to stand up straight or even walk. Pain medications, doctors, were doing all they could do, but I kept getting worse. I was afraid. I had little money, no job, no future and could not even take care of myself. All I could envision was surgery, extensive therapy, being in a wheelchair, unable to work physical labor, which was all I knew how to do at that time.
Just some legal stuff. Although Touching the Nations (TTN) does not intend to change, adjust, or reject your testimony, we retain the right to do so. All testimonies sent to Touching the Nations (TTN) becomes our property, and, as such, we will be free to do with the article as seems fitting.

GOD HEALS LOWER BACK
In 1987 I severely hurt my lower back. I knew nothing about the healing power of God or the gifts of the Holy Spirit. For 6 months I suffered pain and for much of that time I was unable to stand up straight or even walk. Pain medications, doctors, were doing all they could do, but I kept getting worse. I was afraid. I had little money, no job, no future and could not even take care of myself. All I could envision was surgery, extensive therapy, being in a wheelchair, unable to work physical labor, which was all I knew how to do at that time.
While laying in bed, I heard a preacher teach on that it is God's will for me to be healed. And I heard other people's testimonies of God healing their sick, diseased, and broken bodies. My faith began to increase as I heard the Word of God concerning Healing. I began to pray and ask the Lord to manifest His healing power in my body. I was desperate. And then I heard the preacher preach on giving an offering to God, tithe and get the windows of heaven opened up, so that God can bless me. I obeyed God's Word and emptied out my checkbook. (Don't do this unless God really speaks to you.) I gave everything I had. I gave my best, since God gave me His best, His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, who paid the price for my healing.
This is when the battle in my mind started. All kinds of negative thoughts plagued me, but I kept crying out to God to heal me. I would hear voices telling me that I was going to be worse off because of my giving and that I was only buying my miracle. But I knew deep inside that my heart was sincere before God and that those thoughts were a lie because it is contrary to God's Word. Seven days after that offering , God visited me in my bedroom at 6 am. While laying in bed looking up toward the ceiling, I saw a vision. An actual window of heaven opened up and I saw the "Healing Hands of God" glowing with light and power descending toward me. I saw a pure white linen robe around these hands of perfection. God's glory emanated through the white linen robe. A ministering angel was now in my room. I did not see his face. With his left arm he picked up my whole body off my bed. And then with his right hand, he placed it on my lower back where the problem was.
God's power went into my back and every bone began to crack and move into the correct place and every nerve began to mend. my body could not contain all of God's power. I actually could see a river of power come out of my mouth as I groaned. God's healing power filled my belly, my spirit, my back and came up out of my mouth. It was then that God gave me supernatural knowledge that my testimony will be powerful concerning healing, "Because you have believed in what the scripture hath said, out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water."
All of the sudden, I was standing in my bedroom and the angel was gone. And I'm checking myself out amazed at what I just experienced. I kept saying to myself, "God really does heal people! God healed me! God healed me!" I still felt a strong Presence of God in my room. It was then that I heard the audible voice of God in the Spirit. God asked me a question. "Mike. Who healed you?" I was trembling when I said, "Jesus?" And then I heard these words, "It is the will of God for everyone to be healed. If you were to say it is not the will of God for everyone to be healed, it would be the same as looking into the face of Jesus in mockery saying, "Jesus! I don't believe you paid the price for me! Jesus! I don't believe that with Your stripes I am healed!"
From that moment on I have always said it is the will of God for everyone to be healed. I will not mock my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I hope this testimony will help someone else to receive their healing from the Lord. God bless you!
